a little bit ABOUT ME...
Originally from the Netherlands but was raised in Vila do Bispo, Portugal since the age of six. Living in this corner of surfer’s paradise, I naturally started to feel the call to start as well. Some lessons here and there and after around teenage times I really dug into it and made it my lifestyle. I’ve been competing ever since and have built up my name in the Portuguese surfing community by being in the top 10 and having several published interviews and articles internationally.
Simultaneously, I began my career modelling in Lisbon but rapidly shifted my focus to collaborating with brands aligned with my passion for nature, especially in surfing. From here, things started to roll and worked with various big brands as a model, a content creator, a surfer… Nowadays I take the products into my everyday life close to the ocean, challenging myself to create something original and natural. Handling everything from location scouting, artistic view, styling, mood board, photographer, etc., my goal is to build relationships with brands and grow together.
I released my very own mini documentary series Through my Eyes a while ago and am now working on another short film to be released next year.
I am also a part of O’Neill’s Women of the Wave project since the very start of it, and we will now have an exciting project together coming up for next year.
Besides all the professional stuff, I am a life lover and have many passions and occupations. I’m a mother of my 5 year old son, so spending time at he beach with my little family is naturally what I end up doing most. I also love cooking and learning about nutrition. Trying new sports and just being active in nature in general is something I really enjoy to complement and maximize my performance in the water.
In the end, I´m very happy and motivated to be working with my passions, this really gives all I do a very true and genuine look & feel.
